• Are you expected to speak a foreign language as a volunteer?
  Yes. Visitors come from all over the world so all languages are welcome, including sign language.
  
  
• I have a handicap; can I still become a Greeter?
  Yes, certainly! As long as you can provide a 4 hour (maximum) tour.
  
  
• What type of visitors book Greeters?
  Anyone that wants to set out with a local ‘friend’, including families on vacation, visitors of international organisations, new diplomats, adventurers, journalists and more.
  
  
• Which criteria are used to match the Greeter to visitors?
  The most important criteria are: language, preference for a neighbourhood and quite simply, a date.  Furthermore, we look at possible other interests. You meet the visitors at an agreed-upon on location, for instance, at their hotel.
